"Popped in on a Cold Wintery Sunday morning for brekky. Looked really busy and didn't like our chances. However , vibrant and friendly staff welcomed us to a high top table for two!Attentive service and friendly chatter with the staff taking our coffee order straight away. Coffee was great and brekky order taken and delivered pretty quickly considering how busy they were. Hubby had scrambled eggs and bacon and I had egg and bacon roll. Both were delish!. Will definitely go back to Merchant and Maker. Service with a smile that has left a great impression . Well done Merchant!!"

"Have been numerous times before. The first was good, but the last few times the service and quality has deteriorated quite significantly. So much so after my visit today (Saturday) We shall not be returning. We ordered two poachers from the breakfast menu. About ten...mins later one of the meals arrived and it wasn’t until I had finished mine that the second was served after it was taken to another table by mistake. It was taken back to the kitchen. My partner had to approach the staff and ask if that was are missing meal before we were finally served. No explanation or apology was given. Has this business changed hands?"
