"This a popular and busy restaurant. Although not in an optimum location (albeit easy for vehicular access and parking) it was clearly well supported and well loved by the presumably local clientele. We had travelled some distance to join a family celebration so were first timers here. We were impressed with everything really; the menu was extensive and varied, the service was great and the food well presented, tasty and fairly priced. We were perhaps a little rushed with our early booking meaning we were given a time to vacate which didn’t feel generous. However, I guess this was indicative of their popularity and success. It is good to see family owned and operated businesses doing well. We hope to get an opportunity to re visit."
In pleasant weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.

"Ordered by their website instead of just eating and saved 10% so good start there had chicken curry, meat garlic asian style and mixed grill stars. the curries were very nice, the meat dish especially and compared to the other local places in shipley were both better tasting and better value for money. the mixed grill was a dump. they were not grilled fresh, but were heated again. the kebabs were possibly actually preserved and the chicken kash was rock-resistant and inedible. salat was standard, sauces ok and the 3 chappatis were very thin, not like their normal home made, but closer to Tortilla wraps"

"Such a shame. Many years of going here and generally one of the best old style curry restaurants. Unfortunately last two visits have been way too hot. People like spicy curries to taste the spices not hot so you can’t taste them( unless of course requested) waste of money as couldn’t eat the food, couldn’t taste anything."

"We came as a party of 8 which included 3 children between 3-7. Service was great and the staff are all lovely and friendly. The food was fantastic, and can highly recommend the halloumi burger. Will be coming back very soon. Thank you all for a great meal."

"First visit here today with my daughter for birthday lunch. Friendly welcoming staff. Very busy which is always a good sign. Ordered drinks and food, one of which was on the specials list. I have read some of the reviews on here before posting this about the wait for food and customer service and felt compelled to comment. Yes we waited a little while but for good freshly made food you do, especially when it’s lunch time rush! Yes they got one of the orders wrong but it was quickly resolved, apologies given and also removed from the bill. But the food was worth the wait! So for my first visit I was impressed. Customer service is key and on this occasion they did everything right and we will be back."

"Ordered chicken kebabs. Took forever to arrive. Chicken was so dry I couldn’t swallow it. Hardly any sauce and dry pitta. Salad was just a pile of onions. It was so bad I threw up the small amount I ate. Expensive too considering it was inedible."
