"The food was good as you can see. I did ask for a change with mine due to an allergy this was not listened too and was even told that it was fine! When it was given without items that i am allergic too, it was lovely I had a sandwich. The place was packed and the staff were run off their feet but when they came to the table they were lovely. It was a little chilly so many kept their coats on. I would return again but in the summer Price per person: £40–50"

"For the first time, the rose crown visited a recommendation from a friend who often eats there. we traveled by liverpool met with friends thanks to quality, they reserved one table as it was very busy around 17 clock. the personal is super friendly as the two owners, the eating was delicious, service was first class, the place had a great atmosphere. we will come back in the near future."

"Lovely to see this wonderful little Pub thriving again. It's been under a number of managers since we moved to the Village 22 years ago. The Timothy Taylor Landlord was SO good I filled in a CAMRA Tasting Card. Considering I only popped in to use the facilities on my way home from dropping my bike off for a service... So glad I did."

"With no water in our village due to an accident and damaged pipeline, cooking at home wasn't so appealing so we headed off to our favourite bar and restaurant, the Corner House. The place was busy and technically full as many people had the same idea, but the staff rallied round to make room for us and despite them being run off their feet, the food and service was still absolutely fantastic. Congratulations to Luke and the rest of the staff, you really pulled it out of the bag... and this is exactly why we go back there time and time again. We couldn't recommend it more, 5 stars every time."

"Wah Do House offers the best takeaway Chinese food I’ve had. The salt and pepper chips along with the chilli shredded beef, chicken batter balls and mushroom omelette, to name a few, are excellent. I have been ordering from here for years and will continue to do so. Lovely chatty staff and fast service too!"

"Went here On Saturday , just awful food, steak I was served was off, having worked in steak restaurant for 10 years I can tell the difference between rotten and aged. Both children had steak and chips, inedible. Returned my very overcooked off steak to kitchen having had to spit out second mouthful, chef did say it’s aged but would cook one that had come in recently. We had heard great new reviews but sadly not on this evening.The limited evening menu was without the fish as it hadn’t arrived Lovely staff though."
