"We all had an amazing evening last night for my Fathers 80th birthday get together, a big thank you to all the staff for there such warm hospitality.The food was lovely every plate on our table of 13 was empty and they all said the food was superb, so a big thank you to the kitchen staff we all loved it.The waiting staff who served us where just so nice it just made the evening even better.And a big thank you for putting up some birthday banners too.I am so pleased with how the night went and i think having it in the Castle Club made it so much better. "To begin it is spotless. Really inviting, super little cafe. The man that runs the front of house operation along with the other staff are very friendly. I've been 2 or 3 times and had coffee cake and I've had a meal all were excellent. I was there with my husband when I had the meal, and the portion was generous and tasty, and with a friend for the coffee cake the cakes were lovely. I would highly recomend a visit, you won't be dissapointed."

"Called in with family for lunch. We had main courses with desserts. Service was quick and efficient and the waitress friendly. Price was good at £7.45 for two courses and this price is for anyone not just senior citizens! Our choice was ham salad with chips and fish, chips and peas. Ham was tasty, fish okay (processed I think), sticky toffee pudding and apple pie both with cream very nice. Good value for price. We have found Troopers to be popular and busy at lunch times. Have called in a few times recently and no complaints will return again."
