"Midweek at 5 pm, pub was quiet but not empty, food was great, hot, good size portions, we had chicken strips and Calamari to start with. Next steak ale pie also wild venison pie. Both were fantastic, tasty, hot, and very filling so much so we couldn't eat dessert, staff helpful, happy and very polite, very nice place to have a meal, if you get the chance give them a visit. Price per person: £30–40"

"I walked in this evening after having seen the sign from outside, directing me to the dining area, a place which I had previously been unaware they had, and enjoyed a lovely cajun chicken and chorizo pasta bake and 2 pints of Coke. When I stated that I didn't want garnish, I was immediately offered chips in it's place, to which I gratefully accepted and had a nice meal."
