"We have lunch here quite often. It has always been absolutely delicious. There are slight variations on the menus, with different specials on each time we go. Between myself, my husband and our three kids, we have tried lots of dishes. The ribs were a big hit, and today I was absolutely delighted with the squid. The accompanying salads and slaws very unique and delicious. I’ve even started to put a few fennel seeds into my slaw at home thanks to the ideas I’ve picked up at Hunters Moon. My husband had the steak sandwich. It was perfectly cooked and very tender. The sauce that was with it was gorgeous. The staff are very accommodating, offering the children smaller portions of the adult menus. Very friendly service over all. The price is another great draw. Lunch for 5 (one of the kids had an adult meal), £34. For the amount and quality of food we got, I think that was great. We will definitely be back!"

"For two weeks, we started most mornings in Kilkeel with big, welcoming smiles and delicious, reasonably priced breakfasts from Janet and her staff at Neptune's Larder Cafe. Highly recommend this cafe for breakfast and lunch. David and Marian"
