"Popped in here for a pint before visiting the aquarium and thought the place was good so after the aquarium we went back in and tried to get some food to be told the kitchen was closed (we did not realise how long we had been in the aquarium). Got a pint anyway and sat outside contemplating getting a Greggs instead when the blond lady behind the bar came out and said although the kitchen had closed she had checked and they could still do us a sandwich and chips so we said yes please! Tuna mayo sandwich and proper cooked chips were lovely so thank you for going the extra mile!"

"5 stars is not enough. The quality of the food was exceptional, especially the 'proper ' bacon. We had a full breakfast, with great portions, and high quality meat. We were amazed at the prices, exceptionally well priced, would happily pay more. Staff were super friendly, especially young Abbie who constantly checked we were alright. Owner Tina was also lovely and we really wish the business well. Will definitely go back for more. Google does not allow 2nd reviews otherwise it would be another 5 star rating. Had hot roast pork baguette with gravy and stuffing, with a side of roast potatoes. It was hot and absolutely delicious, far better than many of the cafes/restaurants I have visited. It tasted very fresh, and the cheesecakes are amazing."

"Thought I would try Crown Indian for a change, big big mistake, curry, rice nan bread most expensive around here, had to throw it in the bin, the lamb was like leather and the rest tasted awful, should have walked...back out when I met the smell when entering the premises, not good. Found out afterwards my sister in law had been really ill after eating from there. Avoid like the plague HORRIBLE Had to give as I could proceed by given 0"

"Excellent place to eat and a good size function room. Staff excellent. I think it's only pub in Crosby and it has really nice locals. Very welcoming and great place to stop and have a beer. A few different beers on tap. And a good selection of spirits. It's a must if passing through or stopping over."
