"A few related came from the states for a family attack and last night was their last before the flight to home. we decided to feed together in the copt oak before we say goodbye. I enjoyed my time here and the staff was great. the food was excellent. the sitting was inconvenient after a while, but this is my only complaining from all night. the young lady, who served us for the evening and cared for, went beyond and beyond for everyone and was very polite, even though some of my family members were unstoppable. (I want to apologize for her. Unfortunately, I did not succeed in catching their names and want to make sure that they receive the recognition they deserve. if they could help me, I will edit my review and add its names. we were a group of twelve and we stayed almost until they were to end. we have made photos of each other. Hopefully they can identify the young lady who served us. Many thanks for a very pleasant evening, I will definitely come back to the future."

"Visited last saturday with family for a meal, cannot fault anything, staff welcoming and helpful, good pub menu, kids as well, value for money, all food was really good, hot and tasty, good service and nice atmosphere, the open fire was really nice to see,...overall a great place to go. Well done to everyone we think you did a great job and we have told others, we will be back."

"This is a large bar/restaurant that has a friendly atmosphere and good food. The furnishings look clean and are comfortable, decor is contemporary, but it looks like it needs to decorate out and in any case needs new flooring to make it feel cozy and welcoming."

"Spontaneous decision to head out to for a meal, making the most of the good weather. The manager squeezed us in which was great! Food was delicious and all 3 of our party thoroughly praised the quality and taste (the steak and ale pie was excellent! . Lovely atmosphere and friendly service, all for a good price. Very much recommended."

"On entering looks a lovely pub, ordered drinks at the bar and was asked if we were eating, replied yes and got shown a table to sit at. Menus were brought to us to ponder, having sat there waiting for the waitresses return to ask us what we were eating , we had to ask at the bar if we were to order there, replied no I will get someone to you. Waitress came back and took our order off fish and chips in beer batter with homemade tarter sauce and sausage and mash , an extra of beer battered onion rings. On waiting over 40 mins for the food not that busy the batter on the fish inedible, beer battered onion rings not at all. Sausage and mash fine. Told the waitress about the fish and when paying the bill, apart from offering another and being told the fish is normally fantastic , nothing. Sorry but won't be returning."
