"Although our server, Ali, was lovely, the host and other people at the door were extremely disorganized and rude, and even though we had a reservation we were told the only table available was right by the open front door on a freezing night. After keeping us waiting—standing—near the entrance for ten minutes while they checked to see if they could give us a warmer table, they finally seated us at a slightly better location. As the evening went on, none of the tables that they refused to offer us were filled. The restaurant was half-empty when we left. Feel that I should also mention we were 4 women... Food was adequate, atmosphere was acceptable, but not a good dining experience. Can 't recommend."

"I heard about the hype and thought I?d check it out. It?s great for being in downtown Santa Cruz. Parking was easy. The tacos come packed with meat. The chips are thick. I love a salsa bar but I thought their salsas were a bit too acidic. The spice level was great"

"Food was cold, didn?t notice on menu that cabbage comes on tacos-usually it?s meat, cilantro, salsa and onions and instead I got some tomatoes, cabbage, meat, and beans. And to boot there was rotten lettuce on there and there?s not even supposed to be lettuce on them. That place used to be a very good local eatery but has obviously gone down hill. I don?t suggest going here."

"OMG it smells so good when I was walking past this place in downtown Santa cruz. And the actual food did not disappoint. Portions are very generous and food is incredibly tasty. I love that they have low carb options. It would be even better if they had some assurance but it was keto friendly because it may have some added sugar in the sauces."
