What User doesn't like about Le Sands Casual Dining:
First time diner at this restaurant and initially I can say that the ambience was good, but after being seated (table for 2) it went downhill. The service was terrible, and ended up leaving without even being offered dessert. Food tasted nice but not much on the plates (and we are not big eaters). Lucky we got a side serve of vegetables. Amazing location on the beach, garden tables with a waterfall and beach front tables. Nice upstairs dining room to. Think Doyles but nice food

"Follow up review: despite a disappointing experience in the restaurant as noted below, Mike (owner) had sent us a follow up message to apologise and offered for damage control. To which, we really appreciate. My expectation for good restaurant would entails good food, lovely atmosphere, and thoughtful service. This Farmhouse is a very small restaurant, with only one long table available for everyone to share. Not much privacy. Jazz and candle helped with the atmosphere. At booking, I was told there will be candle prepared for birthday man. Not only they completely forgot, but when I mentioned to them in the end, no signs of genuine sorry was seen, it was a "oh I am sorry, it is $144 please". Terrible service. Entry was really lovely, main course was large, tasted ok, lots of fish bone, small but still quite unpleasant, and dessert was creative, can't say it was good. Overall, will never come back here for another celebration or anything."
