"This place is great for both pizza and focaccia sandwiches. Very fresh ingredients, imaginative toppings, and nice people. There are only a couple of tables so I avoid the lunch crunch and many people do take away. This is one of my favorite places for...lunch in Basel. Dinner would be fine, but I usually go to a more sit down place for that."

Gourmet wonders may not be expected for 8,50 euro, they also do not belong to the concept, this restaurant. the evening menu offers from vesper to steak and carving many delicious specialties from the region. the small eck is, by the way, the spot for every age class, who is not too much on their outer or social position. who is looking for a well-maintained beer or a glass of wine, should find him at karl and sabine rehm, the owners from gersbach, or among the many masters actually fast."
