"The two young ladies behind the bar are the main attributes for drawing good crowds in the pub. Their friendliness and excellent service makes it so different from most bars in the town. Great atmosphere with live music on certain days, otherwise excellent choice of...music on the speakers by the bartenders. It's an excellent stop in town for more than just a pint after a fabulous day on the slopes. They serve good ole British beer and the Guinness but of course. Peanuts of various types are on the house- the ones coated with the Japanese green mustard are a good kick with the pints."

"I was accommodated as a cure in another house and wanted to drink in the house in the evening with a friend 1-2 glasses champagne. the barman was very nice, polite and very friendly in the opposite to the chefin, who made us (after our 3rd visit!) complimented with the foundation that they would not want any hotel strange guests in the house, the bar area was therefore occupied by us, and the hotel's guests would not have a place. it should be noted that we are max. 1 hour there, were inconspicuous and reluctant, and this at a time when the hotel guests were just at dinner (so we absolutely no one would have impeded or max. 5 guests staying in the bar area except us) this behavior is absolutely unprofessional and certainly not customer-friendly and therefore this location is not recommended."
