"We wanted to try Virginia's on King for some time. Unfortunately, expectations were dashed. Our server was outstanding and the mixed drinks tasty. However, the tomato pie looked like a bowl of melted cheese with a couple sliced tomatoes on top. Hubby's burger and fries were not hot. Daughter's meatloaf looked like bread. It was decent, but lacked personality. The server started out well, but never returned with more water, though we requested more a couple of times. All in all for a mediocre dinner was the last straw."

"I love this restaurant! every time I come, it's more wonderful than the last time! Today we had the grilled chicken and apple salad as well as the chicken and wad! both absolutely delicious! if you visit charleston safely visit! they take reservations and go into when they are not busy!"

"I took my mom here for eh brunch I guess.since it was about 1230 or so. The setup is a little different than most restaurants. Even if you're eating in, you order at the counter before sitting down. To pick up your order from the counter, you listen for the answer you gave from a random question they ask when ordering instead of using your name..i.e. what's your dream vacation, favorite band, etc.My mom ordered the Frittaffle. It's basically an omelette inside a waffle. One thing is that they're limited on vegetables and/or what can be added to it. Spinache couldn't be added for some reason ??I ordered the Extreme Biscuits and Gravy. It's 2 large biscuits,each topped with 2 folded eggs and layered with a spicy sausage gravy.In all, it just wasn't our thing. Neither one of our choices did it for us. It wasn't a bad experience..just not a restaurant FOR US.Now go and check out my other reviews on places to stay and eat. Feel free to follow. We outchea! SHALOM"
