"I popped into heart rock for a quick lunch before a movie at the nearby theatre. I'd seen their promotions/ads and it seemed a good option ... there's not much else open for lunch near the theatre. It's not terrible, but it's not very good either. The tempura was an impressive presentation ... plenty of veggies and the standard 2 shrimp ... but they were all encased in an armor or batter ... not at all the light and crispy tempura one expects ... it was so heavy that the batter eclipsed any flavor the veggies or shrimp may have had. The summer roll was light and fresh with plenty of leafy greens ... in face they were all you could taste ... the seafood was there but missing any flavor ... thank gosh for a very tasty duo of sauces for dipping. service was very kind and efficient, which is what earned them 3 stars instead of 2."

"I was to lunch and often dinner in sushi rock and every time it gets better and better! the menu has something for everyone, while many signature dishes still have. the ambiente is also fantastic! the chandelier (which I could take them home) mixed with rock creates great atmosphere for lounge effect, parties or even dinner with friends. go tonight and can't wait!"

"I give it a 3 only because my wife said her sushi was good. I ordered Steak Chicken teriyaki . It came with vegetable fried rice, bean sprouts and a little piece if raw broccoli. A small piece of thin, flat tough steak and a flattened piece of chicken breast on top of the sprouts and a small amount of some kind of brown sauce (no teriyaki taste at all) over the top. I have had better teriyaki meals at mall food courts. We were there when they opened at 5 pm and by the time we left they were getting busy. The server had to be called back for anything we needed but never came back on her own. Finding this place quite pricey and not being a fan of sushi, I have no reason to go back."

"The sushi I had here today tasted good. I will say it's pricy but for being at a kids indoor playground this is a brilliant concept for parents and guardians who wish to eat something tasty and skip out on the traditional kid menu options like chicken, pizza, hot dogs and French fries although yes they do have that too! I was pleased with my sushi today and I'm picky with sushi!"

"I have been eating at Heart Rock for years the service is always great and the food is excellent! The atmosphere is so/so...nothing special but the food and friendliness make up for anything lacking. The place is always packed on the weekends with customers like me who keep coming back for more.
