"In the trendy neighborhood of Kaka'ako, highway inn delivers traditional Hawaiian food. We waited for about 45 minutes, the staff were working hard but always had a smile on their face. The menu served typical Hawaiian dishes. It was awesome. Skip the pricey luau and go to Highway Inn. We ordered the Hawaiian Sampler, which provides a taste of all the traditional dishes. To the surprise of the waiter, we finished it all. He said most tourists just taste it and leave the rest for trash. We also ordered the family dinner of beef stew, white rice and Mac salad. Not my family... Highway Inn, we will be back. Lastly, call their number, Highway Inn has the funniest recording!!! Love it!"

"Reserved for dinner and it was a great experience! The ambience and the staff made our amazing experience. Ordered a Mai tai and tropical beer for drinks and arrived in a couple of minutes. For dinner, It was chicken katsu curry (crispy batter, tender chicken and flavorful sauce). The other order was taste of ALOHA sampler, this is a great option to try all the different dishes and each one of them, just wow with the flavor and freshness ! Definitely recommend if you arein Waikiki !"
