"I love me some kimchee jjigae but this was far from my favorite, unfortunately. Pros: super sweet lady working, huge portions, reasonably priced. The not so great was the stew itseld. It is more of a soup than stew. The broth had a very prominent anchovy dashi taste which I kinda got used to after a few bites but it was definitely fishy. The kimchee stew was advertised to have pork but mines had none, unless it was cooked to death in the soup, like the kimchee....is it supposed to be translucent? Meh. I wasn't mad with my order as it was enough for two small meals but I think next time I'll try another soup. If you're a kimchee stew fan, I'd pass on it here."

"First time trying sushi and we loved it. We had the wedge and the brussel sprouts. Sooo good.There is a small parking lot on the side with a few parking spots."

"We tried their appetizer coconut curry platha?. they tasted horrible : platha has was so oily? ???? We tried their ???? Salomon fish curry? fish was bland and curry was so full of oil?.. worse Burmese food we ever had : We couldn?t eat the food so left it like that?"

"My wife had the chicken catsu and I had a bbq beef and chicken catsu combo. It was delicious and so much food!! The photo is after I tried several bites. The beef was very delicate and tasteful and the chicken was also excellent! The meal included white rice and the choice of two vegetables."

"The fish market Paia is one of my favorite places to eat in Oahu. You have an enormous selection of fish and dishes. The portions are very fair for the price and the food is very good! It is a popular place and its well deserved. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the fish varieties served there. A small bar has drinks and we were always happy to leave this restaurant. We visit Hawaii every year."

"Aloha; so if you know from Hawaii how great this place is, from Puff bakeries to Haupia Piee you will never be disappointed. Bit they also have the best food, breakfast food all day along with great local favorites. I still love the original location, but that's just me."

"Update: 3-4 times. Every time. Lunch Special is such a good deal. Less than $14, get 3 barbecue items (meat, veggie, several to choose from). Rice, soup and salad. Bring your coupon from KauKau magazine (It is in Japanese, but you will find coupon on Gyukaku page with small English translation) for free soft drinks or $1 Kirin beer. Your service was better every time and they give the best Kamaaina discount! Now it's our favorite place. The food was great. Portions are a little small, but I can order 5-6 different items along with rice, soup, etc. Happy Hour is the way to go. Beer is cheap and super cold, making my Hubby happy. It was about shift change, so the service wasn't that big... our server never came back to check if we needed anything. No refilling on water. We will go back because we enjoy the food and the price was reasonable."
