"Whenever we come to Pomodoro in Laguna Beach, be it a hot summer day or a winter evening. This neighborhood Italian cuisine makes us feel it is a special occasion for a number of reasons The location: Forest Ave, on one of the great hike arteries in downtown Laguna, brings some fabulous people to observe. Staff: We always seem to stop chatting with their friendly staff. Last visit to the hostess and our server shared some gossip about Ben Affleck Jennifer Garner visit to their restaurant during the week. (Jennifer was sweet and Ben, well... I can't repeat what they said) Tables: The tables are so close, we're sharing a laugh with the people next to us. (This has happened on several occasions) The last time we were there, the table gave us their uneaten dessert. Score! The food: Oh, I forgot to mention the food. Just say the bread olive oil diving mix is worth the trip alone. I am the queen of discipline when it comes to saying no to bread and waiting to eat the right food. No. Eat, the other food you can take home. The dipping olive oil mix (Pasley, basil, and garlic lemon, I don't know what else is there, I try to analyse it's kindness) is so divine I dare to take only one bite."

"The pizzas are great! It's my SF favorite!! We always loved to go there on weekends, but today we have a really disappointing experience at the last time (because we move out). Obviously now they will charge you more if you pay with credit card!!!!! It is not a cheap place to eat pizza, $62 for 2 pizzas and 3 soft drinks plus credit card fees! Shame for you."
