"I went to this place for the first time today and will be a regular . I ordered two gyros and some pistachio baklava and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would’ve been full off one gyro but was especially hungry today so I got two. The staff was super friendly and the food is priced well."

"Enjoyed finding this spot to relax during a long drive. Lively place on a Friday night. TV's all around if you like that. Great selection of beers and wide variety of interesting menu choices. Something for kids as well as adults. I got a winter squash and farro risotto with roasted chicken and brown butter, very good. My only issue was that it was all by itself on the plate, it seemed like it needed a side salad or something. Kids got pizza and grilled cheese and fries, both good. Service was a bit slow but the prices were very reasonable. All in all a good experience."

"What a blast from the past! This place brings back happy memories of being a kid getting ice cream from an old school ice cream parlor. They had a good selection of classic ice cream, banana splits, milk shakes and more. They also serve pizza, hot dogs, and other treats for the whole family. This is a good spot for a quick family treat or an after-game meal."

"Good burger. 1st timer to this place. Loved the decor it was a little too dark for me since I'm blind from my left eye, couldn't see very well in there. Waitress was very nice. Will come back again to try the chicken fried chicken!!"

"AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. First, let me say I haven't been here...yet. <br/ <br/ I live in Houston and wanted to find a cherry pie for my TTU son's birthday. I called and the owner answered the phone. I explained what I was looking for and couldn't have been more fortunate. Not only was she understanding but also kind and caring about getting this done for my son. The best part, however, was the call I received from my son. Cherry pie is his favorite and he said that this one ranks among the best he's had.<br/ <br/ Well done, Apple Tree Cafe and Bakery. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S VERY BEST!<br/ <br/ I'll definitely visit them on my next trip to Lubbock."

"If I could give zero stars, I would! Went in on Friday 8/18. There were only 2 other tables there, one had 2 ppl and the other had 3. This was absolutely not a peak time, it was after lunch hours. We were told multiple times, your food is almost done . Well, 45 minutes later we had to leave. I told our server we just couldn 't wait anymore. She goes to the kitchen window tells the cook Don 't make table 9, they don 't want their food . Um, excuse me, I did want our food. But, we didn 't have 2 hours to wait for two burgers an omelette. (I say 2 hours because that 's my estimate on how long it would have been based on how long we 'd already been waiting) We sat there that long and they hadn 't even started our order! I don 't know how our food was almost done when it hadn 't even been started. They charged us for our drinks, which I was ok with because we did drink them. I still tipped our server because I 'm not a jerk. I 'd really advise not going to this location unless literally everything else in Lubbock is closed, and I hope you 're not hungry if you do.P.S. I don 't like leaving negative reviews, but this was too much for me not to."
