"Our first day in Marseille and we headed down towards the beach. Hunger took us into La Rocha and what a lucky find it proved to be. The service was friendly and speedy, with recommendations as to food wine. All four of us were delighted with our meals, which were extremely tasty. The desserts were an education in themselves, as we realised the baklava was light and sweet, without being syrupy. We also saw locals eating here, which seemed to indicate to us that we had found a brilliant restaurant. We sat on the terrace in the sunshine, watching teams of policemen standing guard over President Macron who was visiting across the road he should have come to La Rocha!"

"We return to this restaurant fairly regularly because we really appreciate the cuisine and the warm atmosphere that reigns there. We take a traditional menu every time (9 mezzas) and each time we have discovered new dishes all better than others. all dishes are fresh and even desserts. It's really a restaurant I recommend"
