"This place is legit! Awesome burgers, but fried, not grilled, in their 100 year old grease, strained daily. The fries are great as well. The chicken strips are enormous, awesome flavor! Definitely nothing for a low calorie diet, but very tasty and affordable. Service was great as well."

"In a recent trip to Memphis, it was a shame to see loud obnoxious annoying dubstep and profanity laden rap music blaring incessantly from what probably used to be a classy club featuring live rock n roll and blues music acts. Nobody with any senseof musical culture dared set foot in or dwell around the club as the atmosphere was anything but classic Beale Street. We wentto BB King 's where you could still find music properly representing Beale Street and the foundational music of Memphis. It wascompletely uninviting and poorly run. What a shame! If The Killer still owns the club on Beale bearing his name, I wonder ifhe even knows that 's what they 're doing. A club with the name Jerry Lee Lewis ' Cafe and Honky Tonk should be playing anythingBUT what it was."

"Food/Drinks ordered – FRIED MOZZARELLA CHEESE STICKS (served with marinara sauce) , CHEESE TOTS WITH SCALLIONS, one VEGGIE – WORLD FAMOUS HUEY BURGER with FRIES, one SHRIMP PO-BOY and a few glasses of MIMOSAS.<br/ <br/ Overall, it was an amazing experience with everything ordered tasting absolutely delicious! Trust me, for vegetarians like us, it is such a relief to find a good eating joint that offers vegetarian options in Memphis, that are both delectable and satisfying, and Huey’s was able to hit that spot right for us! The FRIED MOZZARELLA CHEESE STICKS were to die for and the CHEESE TOTS were sumptuous. However, the best part was the WORLD FAMOUS HUEY VEGGIE BURGER – juicy, cooked to perfection, and loaded with toppings! SHRIMP PO-BOY (ordered by my Huz) was also super flavorful and cooked right!<br/ <br/ Great food, excellent service, vibrant atmosphere and reasonably priced – Huey’s surely looks like a place that “we” would often visit for some good time, great eats and to shoot some “picks”!"
