"The ribs were delicious, the flesh fell from the bone. The Jalapeños beans don't need any sharp help at all. The potato salad was stable. I really enjoyed my meal and go back. Would recommend"

"Top Notch Meat! Very rustic, don't expect linen or metal silverware, but the smoked meats are amazing. I had 3 meat combo with two sides: Ribs: 9/10, Brisket: 10/10, and Pulled Pork: 10/10, Mac n Cheese: 3/10, Coleslaw: 7/10. The sauces are just ok. The main star is the brisket and pork, ribs were great, just a little dry. The mac n cheese was disappointing, and the slaw decent. Didn't mind not having table service, but the reason for 4 stars was the rude and ineffectual guy taking my order and 20% tip. Would still recommend based on quality of the meat alone."

"The food is definitely 5 star and the only reason I gave it 4 was because of the service. About the appetizer and entrees what can say other than it was beyond our expectations with a unique and rich flavor with just the right portion. A true dining delight. Service was not as attentive as you would expect. Server over on the other table offered the specials of the day and an explanation of the menu items. That was not our experience and did not know that there were otheritems available. Our server appeared to be in a rush and was and seemed to be annoyed with another coworker who was assisting. Sorry, service is also an important part of a dinning experience. Other wise, I would have rated thisestablishment 5 stars."

"There is no better barbecue in America, trust me. At my house we LOVE barbecue. We believe this is the best barbecue in the U.S.A. We live in Georgia and make it a point to stop here every time we visit New Orleans, even if we are just passing through. All of their meats are delectable, finger licking, delicious. My very favorites are the brisket and sausage, lord I love sausage, so try theirs with the mustard sauce. The brisket is so astonishingly good. It doesn’t need any sauce at all, just eat it plain and eat it all and appreciate the glorious, buttery fat and dry rub. It’s so damn good. Don’t miss out on the great sides too, like those awesome cornbread muffins and Mac and cheese. Bottom line, if you find yourself in New Orleans, you simply must head to the Joint for at least one meal. You will not be disappointed they are the best anywhere!!"

"Delicious authentic no frills BBQ. Very surprised to have come across this place on the way back to the city from the park. Food relatively priced, seasoned and prepared. I got the Doobin Loobin sandwich with chopped brisket and smoked sausage with side of slaw. The star of the meal was actually the super juicy pull off the bone ribs! Honestly really good BBQ that fares better in the northeast! Will gladly come back again"
