"Why would you go to the French Market? Because NoLa visitors go here to see the random wares for Mardi Gras, pictures and paintings from artists and brightly colored baubles. Also, you go here for some good food. There are a few choices that are vegan friendly, which are noted here in the NoLa pages from Happy Cow, but here are the best choices: The Crepe Cart, The Organic Banana and Meals from the Heart Cafe. From these 3 places, you can get some tasty smoothies, crepes, sandwiches and snacks. Those are your best bets. Be careful as you walk around the market though, you'll see alligator heads and claws, as well as a lot of feathers on the masks."

"Came in because we wanted coffee that wasnt from a big chain. I got the iced N.O. coffee, my wife got the hot coffee. Good taste, filling, and you can really taste the chicory. Good to have it so close to the hotel. Only can get a medium or large, but portions are good for the price. A nice alternative to Starbucks."

"We stopped in since it was one of the only places still open when we arrived in NOLA. We were greatly surprised by how awesome the staff was and their local beer selection. Our bartender (sorry I forgot his name) was very friendly and offered us samples of the local beers on tap. He also gave us great food and travel ideas for the rest of our trip. I look forward to visiting on my next trip to NOLA!"

"Great breakfast spot that seems to be a bit under the radar. No issues snagging a last minute resy. Super Bowl was packed with flavor and the spice from the fresh jalapeño was PERFECT! Biscuits and gravy is definitely on the heavier side and you won’t finish it all BUT the biscuits are fluffy buttery. Highly recommend if you are looking for a “stick to your ribs” savory dish."
