"I did not like the place at all but mainly because of poor service and overpriced dishes (value for money wise). The steaks are ok but nothing more than that and do not justify their high prices. Our server was pushy, spoke extremely fast and was hard to understand and when asked for specific recommendations he just recommended the entire menu so this was not helpful at all. The waiter had a new trainee on his first day and he was just fantastic. The restaurant was pretty empty in the evening which kind of gave a feeling that we were not in the right place. All in all, we didn't like it but maybe someone else will..."

"Good food, great service and awesome atmosphere. Upon arrival I didn’t think we would be seated because it was busy but even during a crowded holiday, we were accommodated right away. The venue is so cute, well decorated and the music stood out the most, very enjoyable. The server recommended we try the blueberry lemon biscuit and it did not disappoint! The food was so good, it made my shoulders dance. Kudos to the chef and the foot they have in those recipes. I would definitely come back here to enjoy more of this comfort delicious food. Thank you!"

"The venue, ambience, presentation and service at Red Rooster are all stellar: it’s got such a cool African/American/food visual theme going on, and everything from music to plating to staff outfits supports that. We found the food to be only okay: the deviled eggs and chicken and waffles were solid but nothing to write home about. The mac and greens was decent but very heavy. The meat in the chicken sandwich was soggy, and the brioche bun didn’t feel like it belonged—though I must say the French fries that came with it were really excellent. Nice pickles, too. I was surprised, because the place has such a reputation—maybe an off day for the kitchen."
