"It was my birthday and my husband wanted to take me somewhere special. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was clean and after ordering drinks we ordered our food. The food came and it was amazing. So tasty and enjoyable. Highly recommended and I did indulge in one or two Lemon Gins and omg they were so delicious."

"Service nice but a bit slow. We were there two and half hours for two courses, table of ten we were the only table there. Desserts were probably the highlight they all seemed homemade and good quality. Didn't like seeing the chef coming into the restaurant and drinking beer. Roast dinners went down well. Mine and my partners burgers weren't great. Pasta was fine. One in the group had a basic chicken dish and said the chicken was wet; I imagine precooked and reheated in water/brine. Comfortable but an odd atmosphere, may have just been the time of day we were there though. Think they'd benefit from a promotiona or early bird menu for between 3 5pm as the prices were a bit too high for what it was."

"The food saved this visit from a total catastrophe! although there was a wonderful sunny day and all other restaurants with their terrace opened pizza expression had their closed because of lack of personal. inside was pretty quiet. eating was absolutely beautiful and the whole family explained to be the best pizza of all time. the service was not as good as possible. No one checked if we needed more drinks. no seasoning. the bad shock came to the end when we tried to pay over the app. I was charged twice! it seems that it happens as the manager just shrunk and told me when it was back. in 7 to 10 working days! what can cause some human problems when financial is tight. my bill was over 100 pounds, so that's a lot to pay twice. it took 7 days to get it back. so be warned. do not pay them via paypal, google pay etc. if they use the app, then they use their bank card as they can at least argue with the bank to return them faster."
