"We visited Cafe Bistro de la Place last year and made sure we returned this year. Sophie, the owner, and Pierre-Olivier the chef, both remembered us. The dinner was outstanding. The salmon was done perfectly as were the vegetables. We also had lunch there the following day and again, we were not disappointed. We stayed quite a while as we visited with a friend for lunch. The staff were so courteous and never made us feel rushed and let us stay for a long time to chat. Our only disappointment was when we returned Monday night for dinner, the place was closed. We wanted one last meal from Cafe Bistro de la Place before we left Cap Santé. We will return."

"The other places can't compare - Rotisserie petit Champlain is the absolute best when it comes to chicken. Always juicy & tender, never dry; superior fries, fabulous gravy. Coleslaw is chopped coarse, on creamy version , pity. Iceberg lettuce in chicken salad plate, could have used a better lettuce. No house salad dressing, just the thai but very tastyLunch menu is a great deal - $11 for a quarter chicken leg, $13 for the breast. Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. And we had an amazing server, too :)"
