"I love this place, except... The smoke... it's a smokeable bar, and I hate smoke, but what are you gonna do? Go back here, up and down, for 20 years, when there is Main Street Liquid Company [BEST NAME EVER! . It's gone though different owners, but the atmosphere is still great. The food is, and always was, excellent! Very eclectic customers, and the number of customers varies from two or three to a packed house! The first time my wife and I went there was 4:00 on Thursday afternoon, and there were nine customers, all men. In the next 30 minutes a few customers arrived, all men. We wanted to ask if we found a non-descript gay bar! But shortly after that, some women started coming, and we just realized that the male office workers near companies had taken it for a drink just early! But it was a funny thought! If you can handle smoke, you will LOVE this place! Smoke is the only reason I give him four stars. It's a five-star bar, but the smoke kills me, so I must be true in my assessment."

"I love this place. It's just the best pool hall in the area, in my opinion. I love everyone here and I enjoyed every minute I spent here last year. That means... My only complaint is that I only wished they would search practice prices for league players, i.e. discount or free tables for league players looking to practice on certain days; as magicians do. I don't even like Wizards, but the fact that they have some days free tables for league players makes me go there if I want a long exercise session. I'd like to make the BD my place for practice, but I sink money into just a few hours of practice if I don't play league, which doesn't want to come here so often. I would even be fine with a subscription-based model where you pay a flat rate per year/month or something for table access whenever so I can practice a good session in any now and then without worrying about a potential $40 bill for just once for a while. Maybe it's a crazy idea, just a suggestion. I still love it, and I've been playing here for years. - Adam Newman"

"This taproom is part of the Alamo Drafthouse. You'll get the same food as the theater. The Cobb salad was okay. The queen was delicious. 32 beers on tap. Not too busy on a Friday night. Dessert shops next door!!"
