"On first walking past the building, it is not inviting, just a big red building with high windows. But after walking around and finding nothing else, we decided to check the handily located menu on the wall (good spot for that so you don't feel pressured by a human to come in). It looked good so we went in.First impression was that it was warm, a little dark but okay for ambience I guess, and a huge bar in the middle of the room.We were directed straight to a table. The furniture in the place is awful. Boring table and uncomfortable chairs and the grouped tables had awful coloured couches. Comfort is not always expensive so this could be improved.I ordered a chicken Parma with macaroni cheese. What a tasty surprise! Very very nice. But if you order this, make sure you're hungry cos it's huge, or maybe order one between two people cos you get a bowl of salad and one of chips to go with it.Hubby got the Angus beef burger and that was also huge (and tasty), so same advice for that as above - share or be hungry.The only downside is you have to get up and get your own drinks from the bar. In itself this is not a problem, but if you're on a romantic night, it breaks the moment having to get up and get another drink. It would also give the waiters something to do instead of hovering around waiting for empty plates etc, which they did, and that made it feel like they were rushing you for perhaps the next punter?Hubby just put his fork down and within seconds his plate was taken from under his nose, plus the two napkins which we both hadn't finished with.I had a. Jew of the kitchen from our table and wasn't overly impressed with the cooks using their bare hands to put the food on the plate, eg picking up grated cheese to sprinkle over food etc, then wiping their hands in their aprons which obviously had previously-wiped food on it already, let alone anything else they might do with their hands. Not hygienic at all.The price was reasonable for the quantity, the wine a little expensive by the glass.Wouldn't return to eat here based on the hygiene and the hovering service. Felt a bit rushed and watched."
