"Many alternatives, with ok prices. The staff is very polite and the food is something above the price. A lot of desserts that are quite unusual. The interior can be much improved. Rating: 4.5/5"

"The Hung To Restaurant has stepped up their dim sum quality during the pandemic it is much better than before. I believe is now offering some of the best dim sum on the whole peninsula. If you haven't been here in a while, stop by for take out. Every thing now is made to order, so call ahead or expect a 15 20 minute wait, which is honestly worth it."

"I guess this is as good as it gets in San Francisco. No prior bookings so waited about 30mins for a table on a Sunday. Which is considered fast. A very big and popular Chinese restaurant that can sit up 4xx paxs. Most of the staff spoke Cantonese and they were fast and attentive. Dim Sum is our family’s favourite. The dishes that we like from this restaurant is the tangerine salty egg yolk lava boa, sauteed turnip cake in XO sauce and the shrimp rice noodle rolls. Mango pomelo sago dessert was good but could be better if more mangoes were blended into the soup.Golden egg fried rice and har kow/ prawn dumplings were a bit bland, supreme soy low mein w/shallot noodle texture were a bit chewy. Pork to fu skin was mediocre. Pork and crab roe dumplings were huge but the pork smell too strong for my liking. Chrysanthemum tea had chlorine smell so got the staff to change the water but the smell was still there. She offered to change to plain boiled water but we declined. Chinese broccoli were blanched and served with a dipping of oyster sauce. Perhaps stir frying them with some fresh garlic and oyster sauce will make the dish taste better.Might go again to try the other dishes when we are visiting San Francisco.Parking: Full on a Sunday but won’t need to wait long for a spot."

"Was visiting in town and dropped by this place. Was graciously greeted by the owner at the table, asking if we were visiting and was given a table promptly. Appreciated the warm welcome! The service was great as our waitress not only took our order promptly, but also took time to share nearby recommendations for places to eat. Love the friendly service! We came in a group of 5 so we ordered a variety of plates to share. I ordered the Beef Chow Fun and Deep Fried Tiger Prawn with Salted Egg. Both dishes were yummy. I love that the beef chow fun actually had flavor and was seasoned properly, which a lot of places often don't execute well! Additionally, my friends ordered the Sweet and Sour pork, Braised Lamb in clay pot, Peking Spare Ribs, Beef Short Ribs with Papaya in Clay Pot, Gai Lan (Chinese Broccoli), BBQ Roast Pork, and Stir-Fry Ribeye Steak with Mushroom. I am so glad we are Asian and enjoy family style sharing! We ordered a few bowls of rice, which if you are Asian, RICE IS LIFE. The rice here is soft and fluffy, which is the only way you should eat rice! I love the Beef Short Ribs in Papaya in Clay Pot, and was honestly surprised by the creativity the dishes have. Usually some of the ingredients that was present in the dishes were not traditionally placed together, so it was a pleasant surprise that the place came up with the creations. They definitely executed well! All the meat dishes were great, and it was hard to pick one that was best. Even though we only ordered one vegetable dish, it was awesome. It tastes a bit different from how Chinese Broccoli is normally cooked, with is just with garlic and oil. I taste a bit of Chinese wine in it, very interesting and a great addition! Not sure why the ratings were so low at this place, as the service and food was great. Will be recommending this place to others to visit!"

"Eating excellent service to sit really well with a reservation, I have much to wish. it was kaos. we did not sit until almost half an hour after our reservation time; but once we sat better quickly. eating was standard dim sum tariff. with the Eel/Ham chow my one worth mentioning. we were so hungry, the things were swallowed before pix could be taken. except desserts; they were the best! pix down. parking is usually road and very crowded; if they are ready to go, there is a public, pay for a place, parking a block away. oh and bring a lot of money, this place is a little expensive!"

"Tried this place on a weekend afternoon; quite a busy place with older Chinese ppl! The decorations and ambiance felt very HK, in a good way haha! The staff were fast with their service. We were given the menu and were served hot tea after we got seated. Lots of options whether you want a whole meal or a light snack. They have daily specials that come with an entree, soup and HK milk tea. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling the two options for the day so opted for something else. What we ordered: Popcorn chicken (B3 : the chicken was crunchy but a bit saltier than I liked. The portions were pretty big, so it's a good appetizer for sharing. Wish it came with lemon or some spicy powder for an extra kick. Roasted duck noodle soup (G5 : the noodles were cooked well, not overly cooked. Large portion of noodles with soup and the roasted duck comes on a separate plate to not make the duck soggy. The duck didn't have much meat but the flavor was okay. Ace double pork chop (E1 : the house special which comes with pork chop and pork cutlet. My fave out of the three dishes ordered! The pork cutlet was crunchy and nicely seasoned while the pork chop was saucy and flavorful. The spaghetti came with just enough tomato sauce, which was a bit sour (I like! . Overall, a decent HK style cafe with lots of food options. Lots of parking in the plaza. Service might be rushed if they're busy but orders come out pretty quickly. Give it a try if you're in the area!"
