"Very nice ambience and great bar with the many bottles... very cozy and invites you to stay! Very good service and great atmosphere, slightly dark but pleasant. Food and drinks are TOP. Price-performance ratio is appropriate. There are good-bourgeois cuisine. Come back! Recommended"

"Great wine but the food left a lot to be desired. Mixed starter plate was good. French onion soup was completely uncaramelised and very salty. Bouillabaisse was slightly overcooked prawn and mackrel in what seemed to be a bouillon rather than any sort of bisque. The ravioli were more like sausage rolls with a pasta outside. The wines were great though, resurging the Spätburgundrer which had an earthiness underneath the brooding berries. Lovely service staff."

"Waren das erste mal im Restaurant Ochsen in Stuttgart Heslach. Restaurant ist neu renoviert und sehr stilsicher, modern, nicht überladen eingerichtet. Der Aussenbereich am Bihlplatz ist direkt neben den Liegestühlen der angeschlossenen Brasserie. Die Vorspeise: Kaninchenfilet im Speckmantel & glasierten Apfelspalten an Salat mit Kartoffeldressing und die Hauptgerichte: Tomahawk Kotelett vom schwäbisch höllischen Schwein mit Edelpilzsäckchen und Marktfrischem Gemüse waren ausgezeichnet. Gute Auswahl an regionalen und internationalen Weinen.Fazit : "gerne wieder ""

"It was late when I started looking around for a restaurant. I found this one ordered a big beer and an hamburger. The hamburger was not so good and it was just OK for what I was looking for.Good thing is that there is a good spirit and the staff was very nice!"
