"This is a great place to go when they have a quiz night. The quiz master is excellent, the questions answerable and fun and the supper pretty good and all for £15 per head. Always a thoroughly enjoyable evening and prizes for the teams coming 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Roll on the next one!"

"Friendly staff and the new General Manager is doing an excellent job. It was good that locals also came into The Crown at lunchtime and in the evenings. The bedrooms and ensuites in the hotel are a good size, clean and well-serviced. Good choices of cereal, yoghurt and pastries for breakfast. Sausages, mushrooms and eggs were all cooked very well and there was a choice of other breakfast dishes. The Dinner Menu could be simplified. We thought the best Starters were the Mushrooms and the Smoked Salmon dishes and the best Mains were the Trout and Lamb 3 ways dishes. The Crown is within easy walking distance of the Woodbridge Tide Mill; one of only two in the UK. Sutton Hoo is about 10 minutes drive away."

"I just had our high time on this Saturday and the sausage car went an absolute tasty bite. we had them from 8.30 10.30 and that was the perfect night snack to make sure the guests were not hungry later. we had the guests get several hot dogs they enjoyed them so much the feedback we got was people loved it. they also fulfill all nutritional requirements. Thank you!"

"Arrived at 7pm as a party of five. We were shown to our table by a server who already had two plates inhis hand and was waiting another table. After out starters arrived, there was a 50 minute wait for the main course, which only arrived when we reminded staff. I am pretty sure we had been forgotten as people were served food who had arrived well after us. The Chicken Alfredo was cold and I had to ask for cutlery. The tiny portion tasted of tinned chicken soup and was returned. We will not be returning."

"Really disappointing, the menu looked nice and the place looked nice but… we ordered a sourdough toast with poached eggs and halloumi, the eggs were rock solid (which is pretty bad for a place which only serves brunch! so we asked for new eggs, they didn’t take our plate away, we then explained our halloumi would be rubbery and toast/bacon coke the service guy just said “well sorry” and that was that… someone came back 7 minutes later with new eggs, cooked perfectly now, but the toast was soggy and chewy at the same time, the halloumi was like rubber and the bacon was cold. It’s disappointing because it had potential to be so nice, my partner is a chef and it’s really poor to not take the plate and redo it, now if I was at weatherspoons paying a small price I would get over it but when paying £34 for 2 small bits of toast 2 coffees it’s just not okay. Safe to say I won’t be back, staff never apologised or really acknowledged anything, table was also not cleaned, they’d ran out of loads, just overall really poor."
