"Harry's Kitchen is a fantastic restaurant! I have been to thousands of restaurants. Although I have loved many, not one has turned me into a fan like Harry's has! The difference here is the culture. Harry's has employees who care. They have pride of ownership. They care about the customer! That is very hard to cultivate in today's society and he has achieved that. The food is amazing and consistent. I love the shrimp and grits, the steak frites, the greek salad, the pork chop is as tender as can be. The service above all and the atmosphere is quaint, cozy and extremely clean. He has a bartender that makes the best cocktails and is soooo creative! You will not be disappointed. He has a great selection of wine and pairs it with his features for the evening. This is not a one man show, it is a family, a team, an army of the best in the business. Ask anyone of his employees about Harry and they all love him!"

"Best Baby Shower Cake Ever!! We've been customers of Continental Bakery for over thirty years. They never disappoint.......they have the friendliest, most professional staff who listen to what we asked for and gave us the most beautiful cake imaginable. It's a team effort beginning with Stacey who has the patience of a saint; followed by Chris the cake decorator who's roses on the cake were like small works of art. And they are helpful beyond belief; Briana, Rachel others help me load the cake into the car and surround it for the long journey from Mt. Prospect to Vernon Hills.......And Stacey's recommendation of the strawberry bavarian filling was perfect. The cake sliced beautifully and was the talk of the shower. Thank you all so very very much. P.S. I'm pretty sure the bakery has a photo of the cake, so ask to see it.....its beautiful!!"

"The red wine was very warm and needed needed to be controlled since the bar is outdoor. The double baked potato was a disappointment and not at all what was promised. The wine selection on any bottle under $100 was just not very good wine. We had to spend over that amount to get a decent wine. However, with wine by the glass the selection was very good."

"Exceptional friendly and friendly staff! We visited Brunch lessons during the first Sunday and did not have to wait for a table, although almost all stands and tables were full. Despite the crowd, our server was very attentive. We also received our food quite quickly. I got the chicken and waffles, that was PERFECT; Waffle texture was on point and the chicken was nicely seasoned and crisp. My partner got the Pancho Villa Burrito he said it was good. The coffee and homeries were also delicious! It was a huge brunch! We're coming back!"

"I honestly have to say the food is great. But what a shame that I don't plan on returning anytime soon because the service has gotten worse. I have had my own event there, attended another event recently and have been to the restaurant to dine in. But the service is ALWAYS SLOW!!!! And the last event that I recently attended, ran out of food! They said they were bringing more out and they never did. And do NOT wear open toed shoes or drop anything on the floor. It looks like they NEVER mop. My toes were black from being at the event!! Extremely disappointed and embarrassed for my loved one who had their event there. They were mortified by the slow service. And also, running out of ingredients for the basic drinks package such as sangria. How do you run out of orange juice? When you expect a large amount of people, you need to supply your restaurant properly. Sorry Mara's, you won't see us again."
