"Being vegetarian has its advantages, but it can also be a pain in the throat during the trip, especially with people who need their daily rations of meat (and more power to them! Mediterranean restaurants in general were always a good compromise, as they tend to have something for everyone, regardless of their food preferences. As it turns out, the appropriately named “Mediterranean Restaurant” is no exception. I get a vegetarian dish, friends get gyros, and everyone leaves happy. That means if they can survive the decor! If you like chess, Kitschy type of places, you will be all about the design here. Anyone else might want to go home or to the hotel - it will also save you the trouble of sometimes difficult parking."

"Delighted with the quality of the cuisine and the amount of food. We ordered the sampler with beef, chicken and lamb. It was enough for 3 meals! The meat was tasty and tender. The owner also came out to meet us. My 91 year old Greek father was very impressed and enjoyed it immensely. Would definitely go back and recommend it. Both of the waitresses were pleasant and efficient."

"We wanted a middle-eastern-style dinner to preceed a viewing of the classic film, 'Lawrence of Arabia, ' with a group of friends. As always, the Farmers Dish was a big hit! Our friends loved everything from start to finish: the creamy hummus with fresh pita, wonderfully flavorful soup, refreshing salad with tangy dressing, and then the tender, garlicky chicken wings with creamy garlic sauce and savory yellow rice – a delicious, flavor-packed meal. I ordered six Farmers Dish entres, which was served family-style, with all of the items I mention above. Despite what other viewers have remarked, I thought the serving size was generous, the price very reasonable, and we had way more than enough for six people. I was even able to pack up leftovers for everyone! The Med. Kitchen staff is very accommodating – they had everything ready to go when I arrived, and helped carry out the large tray to my car. This restaurant is a wonderful asset to the North Kirkland/Juanita community which doesn 't have many interesting restaurants. Sometime soon I should try something else on the menu, but it’s hard to resist those wings! Thanks for taking such good care of me!"
