"The variety is good, the quality awesome. The service is so so because it is always packed with so many pleople that the staff is always running here and there. It is expensive but I think it is worth it cause the plates are huge!...My recommendation: chupe de camarones and cause de pulpa de cangrejo yummmmm"

"Get there early as the line backs up quickly. They only seat 8 at full capacity, but service is quick. On our visit they only served 3 dishes on one plate. A fried fish which was very good and the weakest of the 3, and I say that with a great deal of respect. It was however upstaged by the red pepper ceviche and the beyond amazing, earthy, seafood laden, arroz de mariscos. The only beverage served is chicha morada which is purple from the corn it's made with but is sweet and refreshing with little actual corn flavor. Service was great and watching the kitchen work is free entertainment. I was close enough to feel the heat from the wok and even catch a stray spray of hot oil, felt like catching a foul ball at baseball and I held it in equal regards. Extremely budget friendly and a must visit in my opinion."

"Can you give a restaurant 6 stars? I think he deserves it. The price is high for Peru, but it is worth it if you can spend it. It is a great place to bring tourists. We ordered a fish of 1.3kg and prepared it 3 ways: Tallarín Saltado (8/10), Jalea Chiclayana (10/10) and Chilcano (10/10). We also ordered Lengua (10/10). The Tallarín was very good and you have to order something with rice or noodles to fill because otherwise it is only the fish itself. The Jalea came with the fishhead my mother loved and took home. The Chilcano was just the broth from the fish bones. After all, the Lengua (Togue) was so soft and the stew of the plate was only the best stew I ever had in my life. Something to note is that the dishes (also the Canchita) come with a little spice (very mild to mild)."
