"Great sushi place for big groups and small! I really enjoy all their cooked dishes from the kitchen as well. If you are a big group I would definitely recommend the small room near the entrance. It's cozy and fun :)"

"I kept hearing how good this place is and so decided to try it. Truth bring told I wasn't impressed. I have had better food at Indian restaurants on Jean Talon. We ordered the butter chicken, naan bread, basmati rice and chana simosa. Portion just enough for two people, we paid $21.50 the food was not fantastic like people rave about."

"Good food but small portions. I just discovered this great little coffee place. The food is very good and so is the coffee and desserts. The only complaint is that the ice cream and dessert portions are so small and expensive. The key lime pie is delicious but a tiny piece costs $4.00 and you get about 6 bites. The gentleman in front of me ordered ice cream. The portion was so small that he had to ask if they could add more, which they did, but if he would not have asked, the portion would have remained as is. Otherwise, food is really good. Thank you."

"I went to Da Silva for their grilled Portuguese-style chicken. While their small restaurant is attractive, their chicken is disappointing. The breast/wing was small in size and somewhat dry. The salad on the side contained fresh lettuce, onions and tomatoes but had a minimal amount of dressing. The fries tasted fine but overwhelmed the plate. There are so many better chicken (rotisserie and grilled) choices in Montreal that I will likely skip Da Silva's in the future."
