"Found this restaurant in a small village near our accommodation. I think the owner could tell we were hungry as he was very busy inside the restaurant but found us a table on a patio opposite (looked like someones house) so it was almost private...dining!! The service was great, we were never forgotten and had servers appearing regularly. The food and wine were not only excellent but also great value"

"Loved this place, the food in Ereceira is excellent but wanted a change from the grilled fish and the usual staples. I went on my own on the recommendation of a German couple I'd met surfing. The six course tasting menu I went for was more along lines of fine dining but affordable with locally sourced food with an interesting twist, its of a very high standard . The owners obviously love what they do and we were talked through the dishes which are carefully selected to compliment each other and pleasure your taste buds. Everybody had struck up a rapport before being seated, it was much more sociable than a meal in a regular restaurant. Its a little tucked away , close to theCoxos the famous championship surf spot, I shared a 5min cab back to town with some other diners. Great food and a great night out!"

"You certainly can’t beat the view nor the freshness of the fish. When you enter, you select your “entree” from the seafood counter. Prices are listed by the kilo, so you really won’t have any idea of what your meal will ultimately cost. Dining...area has views of the ocean which are wonderful. You can then order the remainder of your meal, etc. The meal was excellent and the fish delicious. The final tab, however, made this the most expensive meal we had in Portugal and by no means the most extensive. You are definitely paying up for the view. I believe you can get equally good seafood throughout Portugal."

"Recently I sang here with a baptism of friends and had a terrible experience. eating was avarage. I ordered the cod and it floated into oil, the carrots were over boiled so much that I turned it into a maic. kartoffel the menu is not very describing so that we had to ask so many before ordering, they also pay for the fish with kilo, so prestige that it can become expensive. the worst was, however, when the bill was bought out, and we were calculated extensive quantities for butter (8 euro) and a few slices of crusty cheese (7 euro). we never ordered this witness, it was simply put on the table as soon as we arrived. we have never been warned that we have to pay for it, either so assumed that it was free. When I asked about it later, the waitress was rude and said if we didn't want it, we wouldn't have eaten it. So, let them be a warning for everyone as we were not warned. it was an expensive dinner for average eating."

"Our first visit there. Our Portuguese friends (we are only part-time Portuguese residents) had booked a table, which was wise, as the queue for a table for those who hadn't booked was extensive. Moral book in advance 351) 261 860 950. Service was slow-ish,...but the restaurant was full, it being Sunday lunch. We all had the same main course, so can't comment widely, but is was very nice. Staff were very pleasant. Never saw the final bill as our friends kindly paid, but having seen the menu prices, it could not have been cheap . Nevertheless the place was full of Portuguese."

"What a fantastic Seafood restaurant in Ericeira, near the sea and serves good quality fish dishes at a reasonable price. Lot's of locals use this restaurant so you can tell how good it really is. This restaurant also serves meat dishes but why you would even request a meat dish when you have such fresh fish.I eat a lot of Meat but not when I am in Portugal.Will up load photo's later if this review is accepted."
