"The food was quite good, the waitstaff was attentive. However, this restaurant is falling into the trap of being formal and pretentious. The atmosphere is boring to say the least, and seems to want to cater to the over 70 crowd (just shoot me if I'm this boring at 70). That being said, the margarita was very good, and the food was excellent. I had the stuffed chicken breast and my wife had the fried tacos. Our waiter was a very young man, but he spoke English quite well, and made sure we had every thing we needed. All they need is a slightly more festive atmosphere."

"We were greeted warmly and introduced to the owner. Fresh salsa and guacamole were made table side. Live music was provided and we told our server that we wanted shrimp and fish and left the choice of preparation to the chef. We were not disappointed as the food was excellent. The only disappointment had was that the card reader would not read our credit card so I'm thankful we had Mexican currency on hand. Uber is an easy and inexpensive way to get there and back."

"The store/cafe is pleasant and well presented but we found the staff not knowledgeable about their produce or food they were selling. We stayed for coffee it was okay coffee but not great. What annoyed us most was the fact that we were not...told beforehand that when we ordered our coffee in take out cups they would be charging an extra pesos it was just added to the bill, with no explanation. They need to inform their customers of this charge and not assume that customers will pay for something that have not been told about beforehand. The service was somewhat lacking as well. We had to ask for our bill twice and then had to finally go in to ask again for it and there was only other couple in the restaurant."
