"Better than a lot of other Chinese restaurants. I often go to this place for dim sum whenever I go to Richmond. Both food and service are great and even better than most of other restaurants. It has never disappointed me so far."

"Expensive, small portions, poor service, and rude staff. My friend made a reservation in advance. I arrived early and the mandarin-speaking lady at the front couldn’t locate the reservation. My friend is a frequent customer and is close to the owners, so I asked the lady if there is any Cantonese speaking staff who would know my friend who made the reservation. She questioned my intent of finding another staff and said I can talk to her just fine. I repeated that she couldn’t find the booking, so I’d like to talk to another staff. Dealing with her was exhausting as it seemed all she wanted to do was to enter an unnecessary argument. I did find the table and ordered food. Service was poor, food was mediocre, and the overall experience was bad, I’m never coming back"

"We were shopping at Empire Market and decided to have supper at the Double Double Restaurant just a few store fronts away. We ordered prawns with vermicelli hot pot, sweet and sour pork, beef brisket & beef tendon and white rice. At no time did the server refill our Chinese tea even though she was requested to do so more than once. When it came time to pay our tab we were obliged to attend the cashier to request a bill. Of course we were not about to leave a gratuity however the cashier curtly reminded us that a tip was not included in the bill..........our response was that there was nothing that resembled service. Needless to say that it will be a long time, if ever that we patronize this restaurant again."
