"Happy food dance! The look and feel of this place is awesome. I loved the fire pit in the rear patio. The biscuits and gravy are top notch! They go beyond the basics and have a thick full savory flavor. The biscuits themselves are buttery, light, and flaky. The bacon that comes with the dish is also top notch. The eggs are steamed, they have a very consistent texture and are cooked excellently. The turkey cranberry sandwich was also very good. The turkey seemed to be fresh sliced and the bread hit the spot. I had a great experience here; I think you will too!"

"Replaced Sol Azteca. The owners did a fantastic job of cleaning up the dingy locale that housed Sol Azteca. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they cleared out all the old recipes from Sol Azteca and upgraded to the newer, flashier, tastier..Sabor y Sol. The only thing i don 't like is the premade chips and guac that greet you at the front door. While im sure its fresh, i don 't know how many people have walked by them, coughed on them, etc. But enough germophobia. <br/ Lunch and Dinner specials mean you can get in and out WITH a drink and meal for less than $16 for lunch and less than $21 for dinner. Chips and salsa are solid. Cheesesteak burrito is a wonderful 'mexican ' take on the philly. Brisket tacos are very good and their black beans do not mess around. Excellent addition, or re-addition, to the blvd 's offerings."

"We have eaten at EJs a number of times and it's always fantastic food and a comfortable environment. Recently we had a wedding rehearsal dinner for about forty people there and it was amazing. John and Eric were great to plan the night and they offered their expertise at choosing foods and presentation for the event. All went perfect. The food was outstanding with every dish amazing in itself. We had so many people praise the food and asking how we had found such a great place. The staff was attentive and personable and made the evening that much more of a success. The next day at the wedding people were still talking about the great food at EJs rehearsal dinner. Be it for breakfast , lunch, or a special event you'd be hard pressed to find better food and people than EJs Urban Eatery"
