no just go there and ask for Kim at night and Tawny days. If they do not treat you like royalty, I will personally drag you back and buy your entire family a meal and drinks View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Black Bull:
The Bull has been a local landmark for some time. We tend to visit during special occasions, and St. Patrick's Day is one of them. Great service. Also, the chef creates some authentic southeast Asian dishes, so give them a try. View all feedback.
This restaurant is absolutely awful. The service is terrible. I recommend avoiding it at all costs. It's not even worth going to as a dive bar. Trust me, I wish I could rate it lower than 1 star.
While the welcome was warm, the mashed potatoes that came after about an hour's wait were cold, really cold. They were part of our large platters of liver & onions (no bacon offered or supplied to us) we had ordered at a relatively quiet time (5 p.m. on a Saturday) after a great afternoon hike with another couple in the nearby Palgrave Conservation Area. The meat, other vegs and gravy were hot and really good. Did I mention we were all very hungry? The bigger problem than cold potatoes was that only two of the four in our party of hungry hikers were served ... until another half hour or so later when we had polished off our liver, and our friends finally got their equally good, and perfectly heated, fish and chips, and chicken souvlaki. The bartender made us liver-lovers some watery espresso (more the size and consistency of a Large Americano) on the house, while we watched our friends eat. That kind, and professional, but we were a bit thrown off by our staggered dining arrangements, and would hesitate to return. Too bad - nice atmosphere; not a chain; good selection of beer and wine, and decent prices, considering the large portions.
5 stars for real old Irish English pub atmosphere .New owner has done an amazing job both in the kitchen and the front of the house. Extensive food menus from burgers up to fish steak wings. Known for their spiced dishes. New staff are experienced and attentive. The best chef and best cooked food in town. You must visit this historic pub restaurant
Our favorite restaurant in Bolton, Ontario. Best Liver and Onions (with lots of Bacon) and their Pad Thai is to die for! Prices are reasonable and portions enormous!
This place is a dump. Do not go here. Poor service, dirty and smells like sewage. Bartender sells drugs at the bar.
