A&W Restaurant - Halifax

I tried sandwich ,I am not impressed .Price was comparatively more than other restaurants. restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, average wait time.

Went to the drive thru and ordered a single mozza burger and a coke. It was over $8 which seems quite expensive in comparison to other burger places! But the burger was so much better than the usual fast food ones so it was nice for a change.Although, I would need to use the word "fast" food here as a joke - it does take quite awhile to order food from any A&W location. Not fast! But the staff apologized for the wait and were quite nice.I think A&W might actually cook their burgers instead of mass re-heating like the competition.

This location is great when shopping in the Bayers Lake area. Either drive thru or dining in I have always had quick service. Burgers are tasty and you just have to have a root beer to go with it!

I was watching the guy assembling burgers. He was wearing gloved - good. But the buy flipping burger patties was not. Okay i can see that as he is over the grill. But then i see him handling hamburger buns! He was also assembling burgers. This is not supposed to happen! On top of that the fries that day were bad! I am finding lately tht a&w fries are not very good.

Fast service, good lunch , good specials, very friendly staff- after shopping we normally there once or twice a month--feels like family there--great location--located Bayers Lake near the shopping area--i.e Costco, Walmart, Super Store, Pets Unlimited, Sports Store , Staples etc would suggest you go there before 12 as can get busy after 12--a lot of family and working people use this location
