So far, the average rating is just 2.3, so one has to assume that the San Diego Home Cooking is not among the best restaurants of its current visitors.

For just over a year, I have been coming here for lunch 2-3 times a month with a client I help through my job as a Community Training Instructor.
My wife and I were interested in trying something different than our favorites like wooden spoon and Vinz and thought let's try this place.

"What a great little find this was. I got the traditional fish and chips. The batter on the fish was perfect. Light, crisp and good flavor allowing you to still taste the fish. And this place has a good take on chips. The fries are a good size and cooked to a perfect crispness. The seasoning on the fries was good as well. Was not too salty and had a little extra flavor. They offer several different sauces/dips. They offer traditional tatar and cocktail sauces, ketchup, malt vinegar and then some extras. Ranch, and a chipotle. The chipotle sauce was excellent on the fish, something I was not expecting. And to top it all off the music playing in the background made for a pleasant atmosphere."

"Super fresh, healthy and delicious! Best poki in San Diego. Lots of choices and toppings. We drive 20+ mins just to eat here and gladly do so, but, PLEASE open a Poki One N Half in Eastlake!"
