"Here is a café/bistro that should have some vegan options. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat here during my consideration because they closed early this day because of a technical problem... Selmans is located in Terminal 2 of Munich International Airport. Its location is quite central and easy to find because it is opposite the main duty-free shopping zone. (Personally, I was shocked that this part of the airport has so little food for vegans... Right next to Selmans there is an Italian café/bistro that has almost no vegan options. There the employees did not even know what was vegan and only suggested vegetarian options."

"The hotel is located in Terminal 1, opposite Gates G19 and G20. Right restaurant with waiter. Accordingly, prices are slightly higher. The menu has a few vegan and vegetarian options that are specially selected including salad, soup, side dishes and desserts."

"Great food and such a friendly waiter! Was so lucky to find this place as the food offer at the airport wasn’t so good. Had the tagliolini wine, which was super good. The waiter was soooo nice to everybody which made me enjoy the food even more. Thanks!"

"I bought a falafel tahini bowl, it was a lot of food even though I was very hungry. If I traveled with someone we could probably have shared the bowl and still been full. I like that they had it visible and well promoted as most planet friendly'. They were good at labelling their products as well!"

"What a wonderful birthday! Thanks! celebrated my 4.4 update yesterday in India King with my husband and it was wonderful as always! The three waiters in the big and well-stocked restaurant were an established team. Each of you took care of all guests of the same dimension. And each one of them who came to our table was unprecedentedly friendly not to say cordially. And no one knew I had a birthday, and maybe a TamTam would have killed me. No, it's part of their professional handling with the guests. My Muligatany was so big again that I had to confess honestly to my husband that I had not been married to him (laughs! This is what I want to stress here!; I'd marry that soup. And our Naan bread... perfection!! The evening was so great and I was so brave that I had a main dish that I had never tried and whose name I could not remember (but I was looking for you on the internet map and found: Haryali Malai Kababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababab. What can I say? A dream!! After that we were so saturated that we already made a common glass of Mango Lassi fully happy for dessert. Writing such reviews is a true joy, because there are only positive reports. And I want to share that with my fellow human beings. The visit was once again unique and my birthday was a true joy!! Thanks to the entire team – you are just great!!"

"We were here for brunch before my wife's flight. They are really good! No table service (have to pick up the food from the central area and take it to your desk) but a decent variety. Good breakfast offer - eggs & ham, orange juice, coffee and a piece of bread (which I declined) all together. They also had some Asian options and more German ones. Really good for airport food!"

"The Novotel Munich Airport touts the Flave as its place to come to eat where you can see the dishes being prepared in front of you. OK, fair enough, it 's a pity though it doesn 't say anything about the quality of the food and the service... I stayed at the Novotel for 3 nights and since there was nothing else close by, I was condemned to the Flave... Let me share my experiences... 1. Food quality The first evening I had an Angus burger. Should be rather straightforward, no? The burger was grilled to the consistency of shoe leather and the fries were lukewarm and soggy. The day after I had a Big Salad for lunch, which was, as advertized a big bowl of lettuce with strips of beef, unfortunately grilled until they had the consistency of beef jerky. The dressing was limited to one table spoon on top, leaving the rest to be very leafy indeed... That night the dinner with a filet of beef was properly done. The last night I wanted something simple, like a schnitzel, but that wasn 't possible. Once a year they have a special evening whereby the restaurant was transformed into a disco with the appropriate jungle music and the menu was reduced to a list of 6 items, calibre snack food. Mind you, I 'm in a hotel where I have to pay EUR 180/night, so you 'd think I might be entitled to a proper meal... 2. Service Service is an unknown word here. Most of the time I had to wait 5-10 minutes or more to talk to any of the staff. When I was so brazen to try and draw attention to myself, I was put in place with comments like I 'm busy now with an accompanying look that made it clear I was completely out of line... Another thing which was really annoying was the way management treats its personnel. The one time I had lunch, the only waiter in the bar was a friendly young man, but he had no clue. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc, he didn 't know what that was (he explained it was his first day at the job in the bar/restaurant) and had to go ask. When I asked for some additional dressing for my very green salad, he didn 't know what a dressing was... He went away to ask and came back with ketchup and mayonnaise... I told him I wanted the same salad dressing and after 5 minutes he returned saying that nobody knew what I meant, but that the cook did, so now he had the right dressing. To finish I said (after another 10 minute wait for him to show again after I finished my meal) that I wanted to charge the lunch to my room. He looked at me and said that he didn 't know if that was possible... So he left again and came back with a colleague who helped him out. This was not the fault of the waiter, he did what he could do, but I see this as a serious shortcoming of management: it is simply not done to drop a new employee into a situation like this without proper training and an experienced colleague nearby."
