Beware if you order the tapas, they won't bring your mains out immediately. Until you finish your tapas, they don't bring out the mains. Also I feel the tables are very close to each other and we really don't have our little space once sitted inside the restaurant. Another good idea would be if the tables are numbered so staff know where they are going in terms of delivering food and drinks to each table. But attentive staff to cater your needs and a wide selection of food to choose from the menu. Also since it's Mt Lawley, parking is a big issue. Also this restaurant doesnt do walk_ins since they are always booked out on Saturday night. Good idea to make a booking before coming here."

"Mashawi has an authentic Moroccan menu that is entirely different to just about anything else on Beaufort Street. To try Mashawi - you need to be prepared to try new things - and you wont be disappointed. For my first visit it was all about the Falafels, as well as the Spinach cigars, and the Tagine of Chicken, Olive and Potato. It was mouth-watering, and it was amazing. For my 10 year old son ... it was a tall Banana and Fig smoothie. This place has wonderful service, truly inspirational food, and waiters wearing cute little Fez hats. My best find for 2016!"

"Got the shakshouka from the Inglewood night markets, and ordered the moroccan combo, which was the chicken, egg and tomato sugo, couscous, bread and harissa dip for $15. The tomato sugo was so rich and when dipped with the bread, delicious. The egg went hard with the heat of the sugo but it was still well cooked. <br>

The chicken was delicious! I devoured the flavoursome chicken meat with the cous cous and tomato sugo. The bread was fresh, and the harissa dip made the shakshouka even more tangy and tasty wih it's spice."
