"NO STARS!!! Want to eat you soup with a knife!!! Order the French onion soup! A huge lump of bread will soak up all the broth and won’t break up with a spoon! Come knives in hand! Deep fried pickles are clearly frozen as are the spring rolls! They taste like it! So enjoy if you like to eat soup with a knife and eat from the bottom of a freezer! Gross! Don’t go!!! Not worth any penny!!!"

"Good pub food, larger portions, fries are excellent! Patio looked inviting but full when we were there so we sat inside. A little remenisent as it was formerly a local icon hangout in many years past."

"My wife and I ordered Chicken Pot Pie. wW would rate the pie as a 5 out of 10 compared to chicken pot pie we have had elsewhere. Our waitress must have been having a bad day as she did not seem to be enjoying her job. Her lack of enthusiasm was very evident."

"This is the same standard menu for East Side Mario's. There were pastas, salads, sandwiches. Everything tasty. What made it special this year is that they were so well prepared to deal with Covid-19. The patio has shade, tables at least six feet apart (maybe more). Wait staff wear masks and so do the customers except when eating. When someone leaves, we saw they clean the tables and chairs with a disinfectant. Oh yes, and the food was good too! BTW, they will also deliver through Skip the Dishes."

"We had a lovely quiet lunch by Lake Couchiching, Ontario, Canada. Outdoors was a lovely way to lunch, under acanopy.The waitress was delightful & attentive. The food was delicious and coffee tasty & warm. Was the best summer lunch we have had in a very long time. We toured the museum after the house of Stephen Leacock &family for many years. The grounds & house were lovely and great to step back in time to see how they lived then. The community of Orillia has done a wonderful job of restoring the house. Many events such as weddings,and parties take place on the grounds & the cafe dinning rooms. They were preparing for a children's day withwagonrides, and book readings & characters from the book attending in custom. Wonderful for the little ones.It is a very lovely area to visit. ML & G"
