Booked a table in advance to show up and be casually told a...group booking had taken our table and we could have a sub standard table jammed in at the front door. No contact from the restaurant about the issue even though they asked for contact details when the booking was made. We've always looked after staff with 20% tips even when there's been the odd hiccup but we'll never return after this. Poor form.
I booked the private function room and degustation menu with paired premium wines.
Definitely file under "an experience"!Traveling solo, dining solo enabled me to score a reservation via waitlist.
A modern slice of funky and intriguingly well blended foods.
Wonderful choice of wines. Pate is excellent. Charcuterie board is great value and excellent variety of meats, cheeses, olives and bread.
